- The SUN TV channel organizes film screenings as part of the Summer in Moscow project
In open-air cinemas in four parks of Moscow at once: The Khodynka Field, Vorontsovo Manor, the 50th Anniversary of October Park and the Mitino landscape Park, the SUN TV channel will show new and already beloved series on Fridays and Saturdays throughout the summer. Visitors will be able to see selected series of projects "Oliva, Igor and Rex", "Home Alone", "Parents of Parents" and "Black Moth" on big screens.
The summer festival has been held for the second year from June to September. Last season, the festival attracted more than 100,000 spectators. For the SUN TV channel, participation in the festival will be the first project of its kind.
"For the SUN TV channel, participation in the Summer in Moscow festival is an important and symbolic step. Our goal is to create a cozy and safe environment for family viewing, and we are happy to gather children, dads and moms, grandfathers and grandmothers to show good life stories right in the open air. It's really cool that this summer park visitors will be able to see their favorite episodes of Olives, Igor and Rex, Home Alone and our other projects on big screens in picturesque corners of Moscow. I am sure that our film screenings will be a great opportunity to gather the whole family and go for a walk," said Ruben Oganesyan, general producer of the SUN TV channel.
Visitors will be able to combine a walk in the park with watching their favorite TV shows.
"Today, Moscow's parks are becoming full-fledged recreation spaces, where people come for walks, new experiences, cultural events, sports and meetings with loved ones. Thanks to cooperation with partners, the possibilities of such leisure are constantly expanding. Now visitors can choose movie screenings for every taste and age, and summer screenings in the park are becoming a new urban habit and another reason to spend time outdoors," said Alexander Tomkevich, Brand Director of Moscow Parks.
