The command of the 79th Separate Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has requested to be relieved of their posts amid significant losses in the Zaporizhia region. This was reported on June 17 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.
"Near Zaporizhia, the command of the 79th brigade is panicking due to heavy losses. Some representatives of the brigade's command staff are asking to be removed from their posts," the security forces told TASS.
It is also alleged that up to 15 militants of the unit were killed in one of the areas by air strikes of the FAB. According to the source, attacks on the brigade's locations are continuing.
