ISU did not include Russians among the participants of the Grand Prix of Figure Skating

Russian athletes were not included in the number of participants in the 2026/27 Grand Prix of the International Skating Union (ISU) in Figure skating. The list of participants was published on the ISU website on June 16.

The upcoming Grand Prix series will include six stages. The competition will begin with the French Grand Prix, which will be held from October 23 to October 25. The athletes will then compete at the Canadian Grand Prix from October 30 to November 1. Stages in China (November 6-8), the USA (November 13-15) and Finland (November 20-22) are also scheduled for November.

The final stage of the series, the Japanese Grand Prix, will be held from November 27 to November 29.

The main decisions on the participation of our athletes can be made in the summer of 2026.

Earlier in the day, it became known that the Russian juniors' personal cards displayed the country's flag. At the moment, athletes Victoria Streltsova, Ekaterina Korchazhnikova and Anna Dokukina are represented in the ISU database under the Russian flag.
