Sergunina invited Muscovites to the Youth Day program

In honor of Youth Day, which will be celebrated in Russia on June 27, more than 200 events will be held at VDNH, in parks, museums, libraries and other cultural venues in the capital: from concerts and sports training to lectures and excursions. This was announced by Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina.

"The key event will be the festival in Khodynskoye Pole Park. It will be held on June 27-28 and will be dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. Everyone will get acquainted with the culture and customs of the inhabitants of different regions of our country. Patriotic, sports, career guidance and other programs are also waiting for visitors," Natalia Sergunina noted.

The festival's theme venues in Khodynskoye Pole Park will reflect the directions of the Moscow Youth project. The Razvitie zone will host workshops on Mari embroidery, the creation of Altai bevel ornaments and Kargopol toys. At the Sports venues, guests will be able to get acquainted with Old Russian games and martial arts, including kila and buzu.

Open dialogues with participants of the special military operation will take place in the spaces of the "City of Heroes". Career guidance meetings with experts and a job fair will be held at the Career site.

About 300 young people in folk costumes will take part in a dance flash mob on the main alley of the park. In the gastronomic area, visitors will be offered pancakes, okroshka and farm products from different regions of the country.

Uma2rman group and other famous artists are also scheduled to perform, as well as participants of the Moscow Student Spring Festival.

On June 27, a classical music concert will be held at the State Museum-Reserve of Leo Tolstoy on the territory of VDNH, and on June 28, an excursion dedicated to the youth of famous Russian space explorers will take place at the Cosmonautics and Aviation Center. To participate in both events, you need to register in advance on the VDNH website.

On the same days, the Moskino Film Park will host the Straw Music Festival, which will feature both beginners and well-known performers, including Zivert and Antokha MC.
