In the Khabarovsk Territory, restrictions have been imposed on the operation of boiler houses of housing and communal services enterprises that have debts for consumed electricity. The goal is to reduce accounts receivable from the guaranteeing supplier.

The measure is applied in accordance with the current legislation, IA AmurMedia reports with reference to the press service of the regional Ministry of Energy. Restrictions are introduced due to the end of the heating season.

As of June 1, the energy supply of 10 boiler houses is limited in the region, including in the village of Mago of the Nikolaevsky municipal district, the village of Alonka and Etyrken of the Verkhnebureinsky municipal district, the village of Lime of the Amur municipal district.

Khabarovsk Energosbyt reminded the heads of housing and communal services enterprises that it is necessary to pay for the consumed electricity in a timely manner. This will avoid restrictions and ensure the stable operation of public infrastructure facilities, as well as prepare for the new heating season.

On February 16, it was reported about the proposal of State Duma deputies to introduce a moratorium on increasing fees for housing and communal services until March 1, 2028. As noted in the document, the current Housing Code of the Russian Federation allows for an increase in utility bills within the indices, which vary significantly depending on the region.
