The gunners of the Southern Group of Forces destroyed the firing points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the DPR

Gunners of the Southern Group of Forces of the Armed Forces (AF) of the Russian Federation have destroyed observation posts and firing points of militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Donetsk People's Republic. This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry on June 16.

"We work mainly on manpower, on enemy fortifications, on armored and unarmored vehicles. We work mainly in the vicinity of Konstantinovka. We are limiting the supply of enemy ammunition," said the gunner of the jet division with the call sign Clerk.

It is noted that the fortifications of the AFU units were identified during aerial reconnaissance on the outskirts of Konstantinovka by operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the troops of the unmanned systems of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The coordinates of the identified targets were transferred to the calculation of the BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket system.

According to the ministry, the enemy targets were destroyed by a night strike of 122-mm high-explosive rockets, along with the personnel stationed at the positions.

To destroy them, aircraft use high-precision bombs with UMPC modules.

On June 13, the Russian Defense Ministry said that soldiers of the 238th Guards Artillery Brigade of the Southern Group of Forces destroyed fortified shelters and the control point of the Ukrainian Armed Forces UAV in Konstantinovka. It is noted that the positions were set up in a residential area of the city, where enemy personnel tried to hide from the incessant attacks by Russian troops.
