A student at the Kuban State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism has suspended his studies in order to sign a contract and join the Unmanned Systems Unit (UAV) of the Southern Group of Forces. Fyodor told about this on June 16 in an interview with Izvestia.

"In February, I finally decided, I came to the university, we talked with the dean, she suggested that I go to the university for a contract to try. Later, he joined the forces of unmanned systems," he shared.

Fyodor has successfully completed a theoretical and practical training course, during which he studied in detail various types of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) — from reconnaissance to attack. At the university, his achievement caused a great response. The dean's office and the faculty supported Fyodor.

"Thank you for being our first student to sign a contract with the unmanned aerial systems army. We are very happy, we hope that everything will be fine and you will complete your studies," said the university teacher.

His classmates are curious to ask Fyodor about the specifics of military training and contract service. Several people also started thinking about signing a contract.

Pavel Babinetsky, a student of Bryansk State Technical University (BSTU), a UAV operator of a separate battalion of the BPS of the North group of forces, spoke on June 4 about his decision to sign a contract and serve in the BPS. According to the soldier, even while studying at the university, he could not remain indifferent to the attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on his native Bryansk region. The young man signed a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense without dropping out of university: he continued his studies by correspondence.
