The list of cars allowed to work in a taxi has been updated in the Russian Federation

The Jetour X70PLUS model was included in the list of vehicles approved for use as a taxi. The relevant document was posted on June 15 on the official Internet portal of legal information.

"To supplement the annex to the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated March 24, 2026 No. 592-r (Collection of Legislation of the Russian Federation, 2026, No. 13, art. 1678) with position b as follows: Jetour X70PLUS EC3," the text of the decree says.

The relevant decree was signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

On May 22, the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation reported that the list of domestically produced cars that meet the approved parameters of the taxi localization law will be expanded with the Omoda C5 model, whose production is localized in the Kaluga Region under a special investment contract (SPIC). The list implies the possibility of regular updating as new localized models enter the market.
