Spartak hockey player Alexander Galchenyuk was added to the Peacemaker database

Alexander Galchenyuk, a hockey player of the Spartak Moscow hockey club, was added to the database of the Ukrainian Peacekeeper website on June 15 (recognized as extremist and banned in Russia).

It is noted that the reason was an alleged attempt on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

Galchenyuk is the third pick of the 2012 National Hockey League draft. In the summer of 2025, the forward became a Spartak player. The hockey player has won gold at the youth and bronze at the adult World Championships as a member of the US national team. In March 2025, he received Russian citizenship.

Denis Kokarev, the world hockey champion in the Russian national team and two-time winner of the Gagarin Cup, was added to the Peacemaker database on June 9. The reason for the athlete's placement in the base is an alleged attempt on the territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as his support for a special military operation.
