Singer Bonnie Tyler woke up after an induced coma in Portugal

British singer Bonnie Tyler, who underwent emergency surgery in Portugal, regained consciousness after an induced coma. Her representative told The Sun newspaper about this on June 15.

In May, the 74-year-old singer was admitted to the hospital with a serious infection that caused intestinal perforation. The perforation was repaired, but the infection could not be defeated, so she was put into an artificial coma.

"Bonnie is no longer in a coma, but she is still seriously ill. Although her condition is improving, the recovery process is slow," the singer's representative said.

The actress remains in the intensive care unit in the Faro district in the south of the country. Doctors expect her to make a full recovery.

Due to a traumatic brain injury, he became blind, and later partially recovered his eyesight.
