On June 15, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, during a conversation with journalists during a visit to Minsk, urged not to guess about the timing of the end of the conflict in Ukraine.

"I wouldn't guess right now. Everything is being resolved, as President [of Russia Vladimir] Putin said. Putin, at a time when the West is not fulfilling its obligations, when due to the aggressive policy of the EU (EU. — Ed.) together with Britain, the Alaska agreements are being sabotaged," he said.

Lavrov, referring to the words of the Russian leader, clarified that in modern realities everything is decided on the front line by military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, whom "the whole country is watching."

On the same day, the Russian Foreign Minister pointed to Russia's previous commitment to respecting the agreements reached in Alaska. He said that Moscow was counting on the implementation of the position formed on the basis of Washington's proposal, and called this step important.
