The Moscow city court recognized the lawful house arrest of the director of the singer Linda (real name — Svetlana Gaiman) Mikhail Kuvshinov, accused of fraud related to the rights to the musical works of producer Maxim Fadeev. This was reported on June 15 by a correspondent of Izvestia.

Kuvshinov's lawyer clarified that Fadeev has no claims against his client. According to him, the producer considers him to be the same victim — this was stated during the confrontation.

Kuvshinov was placed under house arrest on May 14 until June 20. He did not admit his guilt. The investigation considered that if a milder measure was imposed, Linda's director could hide, influence the course of the investigation, and also put pressure on witnesses and victims. He did not admit his guilt.

Fadeev was recognized as the victim in the case, the material damage is estimated at over 1 million rubles. According to Izvestia, the criminal case is related to the case of Andrey Cherkasov, CEO of the Jam music publishing house, who is in jail.

The Cherkasov-owned office of Profit LLC was searched on May 12. They are connected with the detention of singer Linda. Cherkasov is charged with two counts of fraud, it was noted on May 13. Later, the defendant was also charged with an article on the illegal formation of a legal entity.
