The Square of Journalists in Krasnoyarsk will be transformed by September 1

Landscaping of the Journalists' Square is in full swing in Krasnoyarsk. All work is scheduled to be completed by September 1, the press service of the city road administration reported on Monday, June 15.

The public space is located in the Sovetsky district. The territory is already fully ready for transformation: dismantling has been completed, construction debris has been removed.

To date, the contractor has installed curbs that form the contours of future paths and playgrounds. The foundation is being prepared: specialists are filling out and compacting the soil to create a reliable foundation for new coatings.

According to KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, the expansion of the children's play area and large-scale landscaping will be an innovation. There are plans to plant new trees, shrubs and flowers.

Earlier it was reported that the Silver Square, which was previously landscaped under the federal program, will be renovated in Krasnoyarsk. The current work will be timed to coincide with the anniversary of the regional capital.
