The new Volga K50 crossover has been equipped with a proprietary Russian-language voice assistant, which will be activated by the command "Hello, Volga". This was reported on June 15 by Rossiyskaya Gazeta with reference to the company's press service.

With the help of voice commands, the car can, for example, independently change the settings of the climate system or open the panoramic roof.

Sales of Volga cars will start on June 19. About 25-30 dealerships in Russia are already ready for launch.

Production of Volga models (based on Geely cars) is carried out at the plant in Nizhny Novgorod, where previously Skoda and Volkswagen cars were produced. The project is being led by Nizhny Novgorod Passenger Cars. The Volga C50 sedan will cost from 2.9 million rubles, the K40 crossover from 2.75 million rubles, and the K50 crossover from 4.2 million rubles.

In 2026, it is planned to assemble about 30 thousand Volga cars at the plant in Nizhny Novgorod. By the end of the year, the company expects to sell 25-27 thousand vehicles.

Earlier, on June 9, it was reported that the launch of fundamentally new Volga models could take place no earlier than 2028. The head of the brand, Tatiana Fadeev, emphasized that now the Volga brand needs to gain a foothold in the market with our model line, launch development projects, as well as the development of basic components and assemblies.
