A mudflow washed away the roadbed of the Poltava–Bogdanovskoye–Stepnoye highway in the territory of the Kursk region of Stavropol. Footage of the incident was shown in the press service of the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.

A large hole has formed under the asphalt layer. The cause of the destruction was heavy and prolonged rainfall, writes IA StavropolMedia.

On Monday morning, June 15, the road was closed for the safety of drivers and passengers. You can bypass the problem area along the Kurskaya — Novotavrichesky highway.

In mid-June, a powerful thunderstorm front with hail and squally winds of up to 25 m/s hit the region. Due to the risk of an emergency, a high-alert regime was introduced throughout Stavropol.
