Pashinyan's party in Armenia won 64 seats in parliament

According to the results of the parliamentary elections, the ruling Civil Contract Party of Armenia, led by Nikol Pashinyan, achieved a constitutional majority: it won 64 out of 105 mandates in the parliament of the republic (3/5 votes). Chairman of the Central Election Commission Vahagn Hovakimyan announced the distribution of mandates at a CEC meeting on June 14. His words were broadcast by local TV channels.

The Civil Contract receives 61 mandates plus three mandates from representatives of national minorities, including the Russian community, Strong Armenia receives 28 mandates plus 1 mandate from a representative of a national minority, and the Armenia bloc receives 12 mandates," he said, quoted by TASS.
