The State Duma reported on the categories of Russians eligible for two pensions

Two pensions in Russia can be received by citizens who are simultaneously entitled to payments for several reasons, for example, for old age and disability, or for the loss of a breadwinner. First of all, this applies to military personnel, participants in combat operations, liquidators of the Chernobyl accident and cosmonauts. This was announced on June 14 by State Duma Deputy Alexei Govyrin.

"In Russia, two pensions are awarded to those citizens for whom such a right is directly enshrined in pension legislation. We are talking about cases when a person receives a payment on one basis and at the same time is entitled to a second payment on another basis, for example, for old age, disability, seniority or loss of breadwinner," Govyrin told RIA Novosti.
