Yemeni climber al-Absi found dead in the crater of a dormant volcano

In Yemen, rescuers found the body of climber Antar al-Absi, known by the nickname Spider-Man, a few hours after he fell into a crater with sulfurous waters of Damt volcano in the southern province of Al-Dali. This was reported on June 14 by the Yemen Online edition with reference to the local civil defense service.

"The body of al-Absi, a rock climber, was recovered from the hot waters inside a dormant volcano as a result of a search operation that began immediately after his disappearance during the ascent," the Yemeni Civil Defense service said.
