A resident of Energodar was injured when an APU drone struck a highway
In the Zaporizhia region, a resident of Energodar was injured in a drone strike The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) along the Belozerka–Energodar highway. This was announced on June 13 by the mayor Maxim Pukhov.
"Today, a resident of Energodar was admitted to medical and sanitary unit No. 145, who was injured as a result of a UAV attack on a section of the Velikaya Belozerka-Energodar highway," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
Pukhov added that the victim is receiving the necessary medical care. The mayor also warned residents about the continuing threat of UAV attacks and urged them to take safety measures when traveling outside the Energy Center.
"I urge all residents to limit travel outside the city limits as much as possible, strictly observe precautionary measures and maintain maximum vigilance on the roads," concluded Pukhov.
Yevgenia Yashina, Director of Communications at the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZAES), said yesterday that on Russia Day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the administration building of Energodar and the national flags in the city, which also celebrated its 56th birthday. She clarified that no one was injured in the attack. Yashina added that the Ukrainian military would not intimidate the city's population.
