Ukraine's strike on Starobilsk was aimed at causing a wave of discontent in Russia. This was announced on June 13 by the chairman of the Union of Independent Social Democrats of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik.
"In the case of Starobilsk, the blow was deliberate. They knew that this was an educational facility where students were staying at that time. And they launched drones at the college, knowing this very well. They hoped to launch a wave of discontent in Russia," he said in an interview with TASS.
