- Russian drones disrupted the logistics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the highway in the Kharkiv region
The pilots of the FPV drones of the Office group of the Russian group of forces Zapad restricted the movement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the section of the R-79 highway on the right bank of the Oskol River in the Kharkiv region. This was announced on June 13 by the commander of the crew of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) with the call sign Svarog.
"In this section, the road leads south (highway R-79 on the right bank of the Oskol River. — Ed.). There used to be transport here, and NRTK (ground-based robotic complexes. — Ed.) they came often. They are less frequent now," the pilot told RIA Novosti.
He clarified that damaged equipment and vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine remain on this section of the road.
"I'm on this road in the fall Humvee (American armored car. — Ed.) caught it. The shell was small, I didn't think I would do anything to it, but then we flew to inspect it like a second "bird", and it was standing there. We worked on it several more times," the serviceman said.
According to him, due to the activity of Russian drones, the Ukrainian Armed Forces no longer use this section of the highway for the movement of vehicles.
On June 7, Russian law enforcement agencies reported effective strikes by UAV operators of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the directions between Kharkiv and Sumy. According to sources, the strikes led to serious disruptions to the logistics of the Ukrainian formations in these areas.
