The head of Rosobrnadzor informed about the procedure for retaking the oral history exam

For ninth grade students who have not passed the mandatory oral history exam, retake will be provided according to the same rules that apply to other subjects of the OGE. This statement was made on June 13 by the head of Rosobrnadzor, Anzor Muzaev.

"Any exam, including the OGE, requires retaking. Here, history is an exam, not an admission to the exam, also please do not confuse," Muzaev told RIA Novosti.

He noted that the decision on further education of a student in college, 10th grade or on re-completion of the program will be made based on the results of all exams. According to him, the oral history exam will have the same order and number of retakes as for other OGE subjects, including an additional period in September.

Muzaev announced on May 13 that the oral history exam for 9th grade graduates will become mandatory starting in 2028. According to the head of Rosobrnadzor, before launching the new form of certification, the agency will conduct an approbation and public discussion of the initiative.
