Rospotrebnadzor listed the rules of hygiene when visiting swimming pools

Before visiting the swimming pool, a number of hygienic requirements must be observed: a mandatory shower with soap and a washcloth, the use of a swimsuit and a cap, as well as rubber slippers in the changing rooms. This was reported on June 13 in the press service of Rospotrebnadzor.

"Rospotrebnadzor urges citizens to observe hygienic requirements when visiting a swimming pool. Mandatory shower: wash thoroughly with soap and a washcloth before entering the water. Personal hygiene: do not use creams and ointments before visiting the pool," RIA Novosti reports.

The agency also recommended assessing the transparency of the water before diving and making sure there is no pungent smell of chlorine. It is strictly forbidden to come to the pool for people with skin diseases, open wounds, rashes, fungal infections, as well as with signs of colds or flu.

After the swim, the experts advised taking a shower again and applying a moisturizer to the skin, as chlorinated water can disrupt the natural moisture balance.
