The Swedish Defense Committee has allowed the imminent outbreak of war between Russia and NATO

On June 12, the Swedish Defense Committee, in its report, admitted that military operations between Russia and NATO could begin "relatively soon." The committee includes representatives of eight parliamentary parties, experts and specialists from government agencies and authorities. The document defines the future direction of the kingdom's defense development.

"Russia's military actions, for example, to test the cohesion and authority of NATO in accordance with Article 5, should begin relatively soon," the report says, which also stipulates that the development of the situation depends on some "favorable political conditions" for Moscow.

The document also concludes that the security situation in Sweden continues to deteriorate, and the Russian Federation is allegedly increasing its military presence around the Baltic Sea. According to the committee, relations with the United States are still very important, but Europe will have to take on more responsibility, Bloomberg said.

The Committee believes that American foreign policy has changed significantly under the current administration: U.S. actions are characterized by unpredictability, rapid changes, harsher rhetoric, and an increased tendency to use military force to their advantage, which in some cases was not supported by international law.

The committee members agree that rearmament should now occur faster, both in the military sphere and in the field of civil defense. The report notes that the deteriorating security policy situation points to the need for an effective and accelerated build—up of defense capabilities, and time should be an important factor in all political and government decisions in the coming years regarding personnel, equipment and infrastructure.
