The Military Court of Appeal upheld the life sentence of Alexander Pogorelov in the case of the murder of the commander of the Motorola battalion and the attempted assassination of the first head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Alexander Zakharchenko. This became known on June 12 from court materials.

This week, the court upheld the verdict against Pogorelov and other defendants, and dismissed the defense's complaints, RIA Novosti reports.
