Agricultural workers of the Trans-Baikal Territory have completed the sowing of a number of crops. The plan for sowing triticale, flax and barley has been exceeded in the region.
Currently, 98 thousand hectares of cultivated area have been developed. This is 75% of the total area planned for spring sowing in 2026. The ChitaMedia news agency writes about this.
The sowing of wheat and rapeseed has also been completed. Oilseed flax was sown on an area of 4.2 thousand hectares, which is 30% more than planned. Barley was sown on 1.7 thousand hectares, exceeding the plan by 4%.
Triticale was sown on an area of 500 hectares, which is almost 9% more than planned.
Earlier it was reported that potatoes in Transbaikalia were sown on an area of 617 hectares, which is 5% more than a year earlier.
