More than 2.2 thousand people suffered from tick bites in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

Over the past week, more than 2.2 thousand people have suffered from tick bites in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. There are 445 children among the injured.

According to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, more than 8,700 people have been affected since the beginning of the year. Tick-borne encephalitis infected 23 people. Another 24 were diagnosed with borreliosis. Four people were diagnosed with Siberian tick-borne typhus, and one patient was diagnosed with anaplasmosis.

Experts remind you that when going out into nature, you should choose closed clothes and regularly inspect the body. If a stuck tick is found, it is recommended to save it for laboratory examination.

In the Stavropol Territory, 292 people suffered from tick bites over the past week.
