Doctors at the Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Medicine helped a man in Moscow who decided to develop immunity to viper venom. To do this, he caught a snake and brought it home, but after the bite he quickly developed severe swelling of his hand, bruises and blue fingers appeared. Experts recalled that attempts to inject even small doses of poison into the body can lead to serious malfunctions of internal organs and pose a threat to life, the Moscow City News agency reports.

Experts also told about another patient who tried to improve his health with the help of hogweed. As a result, the man received severe burns from the juice of the plant, writes "Moscow 24".
