Russia will launch targeted and massive strikes in response to attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on civilians. Andrei Kolesnik, a member of the State Duma's defense committee, said this on Thursday, June 11.
"The losses will be heavy for attacks on the civilian population. <...> Damage will be caused not only to the troops, but also to the entire infrastructure, not only related to the military-industrial complex. Their infrastructure is interconnected, both civilian and military," the parliamentarian said in an interview with Lenta.Ru He added that the civilian population of Ukraine suffers from the fact that the entire infrastructure of the military-industrial complex is inextricably linked with the civilian one.
According to the MP, everyone who took part in strikes against civilians will bear personal responsibility.
"The Military Investigative Committee and the military prosecutor's office are clearly reviewing everything, all the chains of participants in this story. It's all recorded, fixed. Not only will they be retaliated against, but everyone who took part in this will also bear personal responsibility," the politician concluded.
