The defense appealed against the arrest of Atashyan, accused of deceiving bloggers for millions

The defense filed a complaint against the decision of the Khamovniki Court of Moscow to arrest Khatuna Atashyan, accused of fraud under the pretext of organizing tourist trips. This was reported to Izvestia on June 11 by her lawyer Valery Sarkisov.

The girl was detained on June 5 until August 3. According to the lawyer, Atashyan fully repaid the damage and returned part of the money to the clients even before her detention. She admitted her guilt and stated that she had tried to escape because of the threats she received.

Atashyan published information about foreign tours on attractive terms — bloggers and media personalities became the main clients of the swindler.

The damage caused by the supplier's actions is estimated at about 1 billion rubles.

Irina Volk, the official representative of the Russian Interior Ministry, said on June 3 that Atashyan had been detained in Minsk. According to investigators, she promised the bloggers accommodation under advertising contracts or partner programs, claiming that they only needed to pay for the trip of their companions. The damage caused by the actions of the attacker exceeded 10 million rubles.
