- International experts will speak at the II Forum "Russia and the World: Trends in healthy longevity"
The II Forum "Russia and the World: Trends in healthy longevity", which will be held on July 9-10 at the World Trade Center in Moscow, will be attended by leading foreign scientists and experts in the field of gerontology, biomedicine and aging research. Their presentations will become an important part of the international agenda of the forum and will allow discussing the best world practices in the field of healthy longevity. The Forum is organized by the Office of the Government of the Russian Federation and the Roscongress Foundation.
"Russia actively participates in the international exchange of experience on healthy longevity. Combining the efforts of the scientific community, government authorities and professional organizations from different countries makes it possible to find effective solutions in the field of disease prevention, maintaining health and improving the quality of life of citizens. The participation of leading foreign scientists significantly expands the expert potential of the forum and contributes to the development of international cooperation in this field," said Tatyana Golikova, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.
Among the participants are Claudio Franceschi, Professor of the University of Bologna, Brian Kennedy, Distinguished Professor at the National University of Singapore, Evelyn Bischof, President of the International Society for Healthy Longevity Medicine, Christine Xuanyuan, Managing Director of the Hong Kong Longevity Medical Center, Julie Ying Baron, director and co-founder of LiveBeyond and BeyondClock, as well as representatives of leading scientific centers in China.
"Today, the issues of healthy longevity go far beyond national agendas and become the subject of global cooperation. The Forum creates opportunities for an open dialogue between Russian and foreign experts, sharing advanced knowledge and practices that can contribute to improving the quality and life expectancy of people around the world," said Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation.
Foreign experts will take part in the plenary session "Russia and the world: trends in healthy longevity. Purpose, strategy, tactics", dedicated to key global trends in increasing healthy life expectancy, the development of modern health-saving technologies and international cooperation in the field of healthcare. In addition, the forum will feature open lectures by foreign scientists, which will present the latest scientific data on the mechanisms of aging, the prevention of age-related diseases and the prospects for introducing innovative approaches to maintaining human health.
In the context of global demographic changes, healthy longevity is becoming one of the most important areas of international cooperation. The participation of leading foreign researchers and practitioners will make it possible to compare the national experience of different countries, discuss promising scientific developments and formulate proposals aimed at improving the quality and life expectancy of people. The Forum will become a platform for developing professional dialogue, strengthening international relations and finding joint solutions in the interests of preserving the health of future generations.
