Russian-built Jeland J6 crossover goes on sale
The first model of the new domestic brand Jeland, the J6 crossover, has gone on sale in Russia. It is available in three trim levels priced from 2.29 million, 2.55 million and 2.7 million rubles, respectively. This is stated in the company's message, which was received by Izvestia on June 11. Cars are produced at the AGR plant in St. Petersburg Shushary on a full cycle.

The Jeland J6 is based on the Chinese Jaecoo J6 crossover, which is already well-known in Russia. In all versions, the model is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 147 hp, paired with a six-speed robotic transmission and front-wheel drive. The trunk volume is 480 liters (up to 1,180 liters with folded seats), there is a tow bar for towing a trailer weighing up to 750 kg, and roof rails can withstand another 75 kg of cargo. At the start of sales, the car is available in four colors.
As standard, the J6 is equipped with 17-inch wheels, fully LED optics, air conditioning and a package of winter options, including heated front seats, steering wheel, windshield and washer nozzles. The equipment includes a 9-inch touchscreen media system with wireless connection to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, two speakers of the audio system, as well as an 8-inch digital dashboard.
Fog lights and an electric trunk drive have been added to the Comfort package. The interior is finished with artificial leather. The list of options includes 18-inch wheels, dual-zone climate control, an electric driver's seat, a 13.2-inch multimedia screen, six audio speakers and a rear-view camera.
In the top-end Prestige version, the car is equipped with a panoramic roof with an area of 1.45 square meters, multi-layered front windows improve noise insulation, and atmospheric interior lighting is provided. The heated and ventilated front seats are electrically adjustable, and heated seats are provided for passengers in the back row. The full range of ADAS intelligent assistants, including adaptive cruise control and panoramic view system, is responsible for safety. There is also an audio system with eight speakers and wireless charging for a smartphone (50 watts).
The day before, the new Russian car brand Esteo presented in Moscow the MX crossover, which is based on the Exeed model and is already being produced at the AGR holding plant in St. Petersburg. The car will be offered in two trim levels, Premium and Flagship.
