In Latvia, the performance of rapper Xzibit was canceled due to his concerts in Russia.

The concert of the American rapper Xzibit in Riga was canceled by the decision of the Latvian government authorities due to the fact that he had previously performed in Russia. This was announced on June 11 by the Delfi portal.

The organizers of the event confirmed the cancellation of the show and stated that they respect the decision of the official authorities. The artist's performance in the Latvian capital was scheduled to take place on September 19.

"After receiving additional information about the artist's activities in Russia and assessing the situation, the competent state authorities of Latvia informed that the planned concert of Xzibit at Coyote Fly could not take place," the publication says.

At the same time, the representatives of the site stressed that they had no information about the presence of political overtones in the past performances of the American rapper in Russia.

There is talk of introducing special legislative restrictions in the region.

Broadcaster ERR reported last November that a concert by the American rock metal band Limp Bizkit, which was scheduled to take place in May 2026, had been canceled in Tallinn, and the Foreign Ministry called the band's leader Fred Durst a supporter of Russia. According to ERR, in 2015, Durst expressed his willingness to spend "as much time in Crimea as in the United States" if he obtained Russian citizenship.
