Western countries must realize that attacks on Russian territory will not force Moscow to surrender. Glenn Diesen, a professor at the University of Southeastern Norway, announced this on June 10 on the Judging Freedom YouTube channel.
According to the Norwegian political scientist, enthusiastic sentiments periodically arise in the West, as if Russia is about to lose. However, he stressed that Moscow is able to withstand any damage without going into direct confrontation with NATO.
"Things are getting more serious now. I think there will be an escalation and no surrender," RIA Novosti quoted Dizen as saying.
The professor noted that the collective West has stepped over all red lines, trying to provoke Russia, while not realizing that it has no real opportunities to resist Moscow.
