Warsaw opposes the proposal to transfer funds from the unblocked €6.6 billion from the European Union (EU) Peace Fund to Ukraine. This was announced on June 10 by Polish Deputy Defense Minister Cesary Tomczyk on the radio station RMF FM.

"This money is our money," he said.
