La Vanguardia announced the consecration of the Sagrada Familia Tower by the Pope

In Barcelona, Spain, on June 10, a solemn mass was celebrated at the Sagrada Familia Basilica, led by Pope Leo XIV. After the service and the consecration of the central tower of Jesus Christ, fireworks were launched over the city and a large-scale drone show was held.

The event was timed to coincide with two important events — the consecration and opening of the temple's tallest tower with a height of over 172 m, as well as the centenary of the death of architect Antoni Gaudi, who designed the construction of the Sagrada Familia.
