Second Lieutenant Yemelyanov's platoon destroyed a warehouse of FPV drones
Private Insur Bikamov, as an anti-aircraft gunner, provided cover for his unit when a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) appeared in the sky. The press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the area of a special military operation on Thursday, June 11.
Bikamov was monitoring the airspace at that moment and immediately noticed an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). Having established that it belongs to the enemy, the soldier shot down the drone in the air. As a result, the drone fell to the ground and detonated without harming the Russian military.
The Ministry of Defense also noted the professionalism of Second Lieutenant Alexei Yemelyanov, who discovered the launch position of the attack UAVs and the enemy's shelter.
At that time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces conducted intense artillery fire, which complicated the work of the Russian military. Despite this, Yemelyanov ordered a platoon of unmanned systems to use attack drones on the detected targets. As a result, a platoon led by Yemelyanov eliminated antenna equipment, a warehouse of FPV drones and an enemy crew of attack UAVs.
On June 10, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry told how Private Vadim Ilyin, as part of an artillery gun crew, destroyed an APU drone, and Sergeant Ivan Golikov provided medical assistance to wounded Russian servicemen and ensured their evacuation.
