Putin allowed the Central Bank and cash collectors to shoot down drones on their own

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law allowing employees of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, special postal service organizations and cash collectors to stop drone attacks. The relevant document was posted on the official Internet portal of legal information on June 10.

Employees of these organizations can now suppress or transform drone remote control signals, affect their remotes, and damage and destroy the drones themselves.

It is indicated that the federal law comes into force from the date of its official publication.

At a plenary meeting on June 3, the Federation Council of the Russian Federation approved a law allowing employees of the Central Bank of Russia, special postal service organizations and collectors to stop attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). It is assumed that if the initiative is adopted, the employees of the collection and the Bank of Russia will be able to independently make decisions about the potential elimination of threats to their protected facilities.
