The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the distributor of the All-Russian state lotteries Stoloto and the Center for Strategic Research (CSR) signed a trilateral cooperation agreement to support the national tourist route Golden Ring. The ceremony took place on June 10 at the International Tourism Forum "Travel!"

The document was signed by Deputy Minister of Economic Development Dmitry Vakhrukov, Deputy CEO of S8 Capital (which includes Stoloto) Ekaterina Tuton and General Director of the CSR Pavel Smelov.

The agreement provides for cooperation between the parties to implement measures aimed at the dissemination and promotion of state parks, targeted contributions from which will be directed to the development of the tourist route. According to the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation, starting from July 1, 2026, Sportloto (part of the Stoloto perimeter) will become the operator of five circulation and five instant state-owned casinos.

"The tourist lottery in support of the Golden Ring National Route will be another example of the effective use of lottery mechanisms to support social projects and infrastructure," Tuton said.

According to Smelov, the use of the lottery mechanism will attract additional funds for the development of the project and increase the interest of tourists to the route. "The signing of a cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, CSR and Stoloto will lay the foundation for constructive cooperation aimed at jointly creating conditions for the development of the National Tourist Route. The universality and adaptability of lotteries will not only attract funds to the development of the project, but will also lead to its popularization, give an impetus to the development of tourism, the emergence of new facilities and points of attraction, and increase interest in the history of their country," added the CEO of the CSR.

In 2025, 24 million tourists visited the cities of the Golden Ring. By the 60th anniversary of the route in 2027, it is planned to include 49 settlements.
