A Pakistani Army Mi-17 helicopter crashed during takeoff in the Muzaffarabad region of Kashmir, killing all on board. This was reported by the PTV channel with reference to the press service of the country's armed forces.

According to the statement of the Interdepartmental Public Relations Service (ISPR), the cause of the crash was a technical malfunction. There are no survivors after the incident.

Rescue and search teams immediately arrived at the crash site. The command ordered the creation of a specialized commission to determine the exact technical cause of the accident.

In southwestern Pakistan, 16 people were killed and several injured when a train was blown up on May 24. According to police, the explosion occurred near Chaman Phatak station as a train carrying passengers passed through the area. People were on their way to celebrate the Muslim holiday of Eid.
