Swimming in 14 reservoirs was allowed in Stavropol

The Stavropol Territory has approved a list of places allowed for swimming during the summer season of 2026. It includes 14 reservoirs.

According to the StavropolMedia news agency, with reference to the press service of the regional Rospotrebnadzor, the agency's specialists checked the water quality and condition of the beaches before the start of the beach season and after that issued 14 sanitary and epidemiological reports confirming their safety.

Water quality monitoring will continue throughout the summer. Experts will also check the level of drinking water supply and the condition of the beach areas.

The agency noted that swimming should only be done in officially authorized places. Relaxing on unequipped beaches can be dangerous for your health. It is not recommended to rest near reservoirs where work is carried out that can pollute the water, including washing cars or watering livestock.

Earlier, on June 9, the head of Rospotrebnadzor, Anna Popova, said that all organized recreation areas in Russia had been checked and prepared for the summer season. 98% of all summer health facilities for children, all beaches that are going to work, have already been checked and all have received positive sanitary and epidemiological conclusions. This includes the Black Sea coast and other areas.
