The head of a garbage disposal company was accused of tax evasion for 500 million rubles.

The Ecologistika waste management company has underpaid taxes by 500 million rubles. On June 10, Svetlana Petrenko, the official representative of the Investigative Committee (IC), told Izvestia.

"The Investigative Committee of Russia has revealed tax evasion by a monopolist in the field of waste management and environmental protection in the amount of more than 500 million rubles. The investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the city of Moscow are investigating a criminal case on the grounds of two crimes provided for in paragraph "b" of Part 2 of Article 199 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Evasion from paying taxes, fees payable by an organization, and (or) insurance premiums payable by an organization paying insurance premiums")", — she noted.
