A series of regional festivals dedicated to Russia Day will be held in Moscow.
On June 11-12, a series of events dedicated to Russia Day will be held in Moscow districts. Concerts, master classes, intellectual games and sports competitions will be held at the venues, the organizers said, admission is free.
"One of the largest regional events will be the Big Country — One Love festival in the Trubetskoy Manor Park. We invite everyone on June 11th. A rich creative, educational and patriotic program awaits you," said Marina Prozorova, Deputy Head of the Department of Territorial Executive Authorities of Moscow.
The festival starts at 3 p.m. There will be three sections on the site. In the creative room, guests will get acquainted with the basics of painting and draw landscapes, study the history and varieties of kokoshniks and make their own headdress. Visitors to the patriotic section will make trench candles and tactical bracelets for participants in a special military operation, and learn how to provide first aid.
In the educational area, everyone will participate in intellectual games dedicated to the history of the country. Activists of the Territory of Opportunities ecosystem of the Moscow Department of Territorial Executive authorities will also be awarded at the event. The evening will end with a concert with vocal and dance numbers.
A sports festival is being organized in the Western Administrative District on June 11. The event will end with a quiz with questions about the history and symbols of Russia.
In the South-Western Administrative District, in Sosenki Park, on June 12, the My Many-Faced Russia festival will be held with a concert program. Visitors will also be able to play chess, checkers and model a folk costume made of paper, make flags in tricolor colors and see an exhibition of drawings.
In the Southeastern District, a program is planned for June 12 in the 850th Anniversary of Moscow Park, where the event "Russia in the heart forever!" will be held. The program includes a concert, master classes in fine and decorative arts, thematic contests and quizzes.
