Residents of the Moscow region were fined 38 million rubles for violations in forests

Since the beginning of 2026, violators of forest legislation in the Moscow Region have been fined 38 million rubles. A total of 905 protocols have been compiled.

The most common violation is the unauthorized occupation of forest areas. 485 protocols were drawn up, the total amount of fines amounted to 17.9 million rubles. This is reported by the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya.

Another 187 protocols were drawn up on the fact of violation of sanitary rules. On the fact of violation of fire safety rules, 172 protocols were drawn up with fines amounting to 12.2 million rubles.

The budget has already received over 31 million rubles and almost 15 million rubles in compensation for the damage caused.
