- 3.5 billion rubles were allocated for the repair of 10 dormitories of universities in the Kursk region
An unprecedented amount of 3.5 billion rubles has been allocated for the renovation of 10 dormitories of all state universities in the Kursk region. Ekaterina Kharchenko, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Science and Higher Education, told about this on June 9 at the United Russia final reporting and program forum.
"Despite difficult times and such a tense situation, the regime of the CTO (counter—terrorism operation - Ed.), life goes on. Schools are being built, colleges are being renovated, and the Professionalism program is being implemented. As a representative of a higher school, I am pleased that 10 dormitories of all state universities in our region will be renovated. An unprecedented amount of 3.5 billion rubles has been allocated for this," she said.
Kharchenko stressed that the United Russia forum not only summed up the results of the party's five-year work, but also discussed plans for the future.
"Despite the huge size and scale of our country, there are pinpoint results that everyone can feel and has already felt," the MP added.
On June 8, the United Russia Women's Movement in the Central Federal District (CFD) presented initiatives for a new national program at a meeting with the Secretary of the General Council of the party, Vladimir Yakushev. Separate proposals concerned admission to universities according to the quota for children affected by the shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), shortening the time for reviewing applications for participants on leave, creating a unified system of cadet education and expanding the college overhaul program.
