The Industrial Development Fund (EDF) has funded 100 projects of industrial enterprises under the Automotive Components program, which is designed to encourage domestic enterprises to create their own component base for automotive and agricultural machinery. The press service of the FRP told Izvestia on June 9.

Under this program, companies can receive a preferential loan from 100 million to 2 billion rubles for up to seven years at rates of 3% and 5% per annum.

The jubilee funded project is the production of structural elements for passenger cars. Chassis Systems Rus company from the Kaluga Region received a preferential loan in the amount of 496 million rubles at a rate of 3% per annum. It will launch four welding lines using robotic complexes and launch the production of automotive subframes. These elements serve as a support and link between the body and the suspension system, and are also designed to mount the engine and transmission.

Representatives of the company noted that the production of stretchers "will use advanced technologies that are currently unavailable in Russia." In particular, a new unique acid etching technology will be introduced to ensure the corrosion resistance of the product.

The project is planned to be implemented on the territory of the Kaluga Grabtsevo Industrial Park. The company's capacity will allow the production of about 250,000 front and rear subframes per year. The company plans to supply finished products to automobile conveyors in Kaluga and Nizhny Novgorod.

The Sollers Group has launched mass production at an industrial site in Ulyanovsk of passive safety system components — steering wheels, airbags and system control units. As mentioned on June 8, they will be equipped with Sollers and UAZ models.
