Dozens of servicemen from two brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have been missing in the area of the village of Khrapovshchina in the Sumy region over the past few days. This was reported on June 9 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

"Obituaries of Ukrainian nationalists show that dozens of nationalists from the 47th and 156th separate mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have gone missing in recent days in the area of Khrapovshchina," the source said in an interview with TASS.

There have been no official comments from the Kiev authorities on this matter.

The governor of the Kursk region, Alexander Khinshtein, reported on June 4 that 507 residents died from the actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the region, 446 of them were included in the register of citizens who lost contact with their loved ones.

On June 3, law enforcement agencies reported that militants of the 425th separate assault regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine "Skala" were being killed en masse in the forests of the Sumy region, while they officially received the status of missing persons.
