The Ministry of Labor intends to legalize the employment of 1.3 million Russians this year.

The Ministry of Labor of the Russian Federation expects the legalization of about 1.3 million people this year. This was announced on June 9 by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Russia Anton Kotyakov.

"For 2025, the target for legalization was 775 thousand workers. And the commissions were able to bring about 1 million people out of the shadows. And we have a good pace in individual regions, especially in the North Caucasus Federal District. If 77.6 thousand people were identified in 2024, then 103.8 thousand in 2025. In 2026, we are aiming for 1.3 million nationwide," he said in an interview with the Vedomosti newspaper.
