Two passenger cars collided violently on the Blagoveshchensk — Bibikovo highway in the Amur region. Two people received fatal injuries.
The accident occurred on June 6 on 20 km of the highway. According to PriamurMedia news agency, Toyota Corolla Sprinter and Honda Vezel cars collided. The driver and passenger of the first foreign car died on the spot. Six people were taken to the hospital, including the Honda driver and three of his passengers.
An accident investigation is underway.
The first weekend of summer was marked in Russia by an increase in accidents involving minors. A total of 181 accidents involving children under the age of 16 were recorded.
