The death toll from Israeli attacks in Lebanon has reached 3,637 since the start of the military escalation. This was reported on June 8 by Al Jazeera TV channel.

"According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, 3,637 people have been killed in Israeli attacks on Lebanon since March 2," the publication says.

It is specified that since the beginning of the escalation on March 2, the number of victims has increased to 11,188 people.

In particular, in the southern Lebanese city of Tyre, an Israeli strike on a car killed five people. Ali Muhammad Dahini and his son Rabih, residents of the city of Tura, are named among the victims. The injured were taken to medical facilities.

IDF spokesman Efi Defrin said on June 7 that the Israel Defense Forces would continue to operate throughout Lebanon and intensify attacks on Hezbollah targets. Al Jadeed TV channel reported on June 4 that the IDF had begun a partial withdrawal of troops from southern Lebanon. The press service of the US State Department reported on the same day that Israel and Lebanon had agreed on a cease-fire.

On June 8, the Iranian Armed Forces announced that they had completed a military operation against Israel, but were ready for tougher measures in the event of renewed attacks on Lebanon. Tehran intends to increase the intensity of attacks if the IDF does not stop fighting in the region.
